Day 8, 9 & 10 - Summer of Learning and Fun!

Day 7:
Have you ever heard the Lazy Song by Bruno Mars???, today was that kind of a day.  It was dark, cloudy and muggy, so we did not get out of bed.  Bekika and Gordo woke up at 10:30 am brushed their teeth, washed their faces and went back to bed.  I made toast with eggs and orange juice for breakfast (which, by the way, we ate in bed). Watched Mr. Rogers Neighborhood (my daughter is  smart tv & YouTube savvy).  I really wanted to go to the park but this weather ruined our plans... UGH!!!

Day 8:
NO LEARNIG TODAY (Bekika's voice) we had doctor's appointment.

Day 9:
Our routine started a little slower than usual, I am blaming it on all of the days off we had. The babies woke up at 11:00 am and after their bathroom daily routine, they went to the living room and sat down, they wanted cereal with bananas and juice for breakfast. After they ate, we read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and practiced our ABC's from the board.  We also watched Sesame Place's The Number of the day 1-20.  Then, we practiced our vowels and numbers in Spanish.  I am so proud to say my daughter can count and write the vowels in Spanish, Gordo can count to 10 in Spanish and is still confused about the vowels but we are getting there.

For lunch, they ate ham and cheese sandwiches with corn on the cob... and me? I tried an orange and mint tea (by the way, it was delicious and I will post the recipe soon).  The big boys went to McDonald's today for lunch.  No nap today but it was perfect because Rebecca decided to read Gordo some of her books while I was working.

I decided that by the 15th day I will stop, but we will continue our routines and we still be learning by watching educational videos.  The reason I will stop, it's because I don't want to overwhelm them.  I want to have more outside time (if the weather allows us to).  I have to work and I want to blog about some other things (my secret recipes for example). I will keep you posted.

Thank you so much for reading I will be happy to answer any of your questions and I will read all your comments that I will must certainly reply. Also if you have any ideas or want me to blog about something of your interest, let me know.

With Love, Lowreley.
