Day 6 & 7 - Summer of Learning and Fun!
Day 6:
After 4 days of well deserved rest with my husband and children... here we are at it again! To tell you the truth Rebecca missed her 'learning time' (that is how she calls it). Gordo didn't miss it at all, but today he was excited about learning. The routine started at 10:30 am. They were tired so I waited until they were well rested. By 11:00 am they were fresh, clean and tummies were full.
I went over the Alphabet and the number from the board we made. They watched The Number of The Day from 1 to 20 by Sesame Street. Rebecca wrote sentences with number Five and Luis jr wrote the numbers from 1 to 5.
Yesterday my husband made handmade Playdough without baking (will post recipe later) with Bekika and today they played with it while I was making lunch. They all ate hotdog with melted cheese and bacon for lunch. It was yummers according to Nonny. No napping today but they were quietly playing with their Playdough while I was making dinner.
Day 7:
We started our routine early today at 9:45 am they were heading to the bathroom to brush their teeth and wash their faces. They ate cereal for breakfast and by 10:00 they were watching the movie Trolls.
Today we were supposed to go outside, but it was so cloudy it looked like it was going to rain (it didn't eventually.) I planned on taking them to the park to have fun with the sprinkles, but I decided to stay inside due to the weather. After the movie Trolls, they watched Sesame Street episodes on demand, while I was making lunch.
I made Pancakes with Nutella for lunch. All four of them sat down on the table while I was drinking my usual chamomile and linden tea. After lunch, Tata went to his football practice and Nonny went to play basketball at the park. Gordo & Bekika started watching the movie Cars. No cooking dinner tonight, I was a little backed up, so Papa Bear brought dinner so I could finish working.
Thank you so much for reading I will be happy to answer any of your questions and I will read all your comments that I will must certainly reply. Also if you have any ideas or want me to blog about something of your interest, let me know.
