My Corn Flan Recipe

First of all it took me a good 45 minutes to pick the name of this blog ... WHY? Because this dessert has so many names just among my children.  Tata calls it Cornbread, but because it doesn't have any flour, Nonny calls it Cornbread without flour.  Bekika and I call it Corn Flan.  I also call it baked majarete. Gordo doesn't like it and Papa Bear just eats it.

We went to a local farm over the weekend and Rebecca went nuts with the corn (like always) so we peeled them and decided to make this delicious corn thing (still confused about the name).

So without further ado here is my recipe for Tonight's Dessert!

INGREDIENTS:
3 Fresh Corn on the Cob Peeled
1/3 Cup of Butter
1 Condensed Milk
1 Evaporated Milk
2 Eggs

PREPARATION:

Remove the corn from the cob.

In a Blender, combine all the ingredients until is smooth and pour it in a butter greased cake pan.

Bake it for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 400 degrees in a BaƱo de Maria. Take the aluminum foil off and bake it for 15 minutes until is a has a brownish color.
Check with a toothpick until the toothpick comes out clean.

AND .....

The most delicious cornbread, cornbread without flour, baked majarete, corn flan ever!
